Mr ANOULACK CHANTHIVONG (Macquarie Fields—Minister for Better Regulation and Fair Trading, Minister for Industry and Trade, Minister for Innovation, Science and Technology, Minister for Building, and Minister for Corrections) — The Macquarie Fields Probus Club provides an opportunity to discover new interests and unlimited possibilities in retirement. The club offers a range of activities, including trips and outings for members to enjoy, depending on their interests, lifestyle and location. The group has recently visited local attractions such as the Western Sydney International Airport Experience Centre and Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre. Probus regularly hosts local walks in the community, with chats and coffee at a local café. The group was formed earlier this year and is growing quickly, attracting many like-minded individuals who want to keep active and connected in retirement. Friendship, Fellowship and Fun is Probus' motto. Monthly meetings are held at Glenquarie Library and the group organises guest speakers to give members an opportunity to hear from experts on various issues or learn more about the services available in their local community. I recently had the pleasure of joining a Probus gathering with the Federal Member for Hughes, Mr David Moncrieff. I was delighted to meet people from my community who are all enjoying exploring new interests through Probus in an act of fellowship.
